2007 chevy silveradoThe 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was a new model, with many improvements such as the cabin trim, overall build quality, the many on-board safety features and ultra competitive tow package undeniably makes this pickup truck best in class. You really can’t go wrong with the Chevy Silverado.

Since inception the Silverado pickups have had a very basic/bland cabin design. They have always been a reliable work horse no doubt about it, but the design was never very competitive or aesthetically pleasing. In 2007, Chevy addressed just about every downfall related to the cabin design. They upgraded the trim, the interior materials, the overall quality is now vibrant and stunning… The Silverado is now an ultra luxury pickup truck in addition to a functional work horse – and 2007 was the year this all changed.

Now, there are still a few fall backs. One notably obvious point to make is that it still has a four speed transmission. Competitively speaking, Chevy should have probably upgraded to a 6 speed transmission on par with the latest Denali or Escalade. The four speed is functional and works great but a 6 speed would be more ideal for the size motor that’s in the pickup. If we had it our way the Silverado would certainly have a 6 speed tranny. The only other issue we see in the 2007 Chevy Silverado is the turning radius being noticably longer than most trucks in the same category. But if this isn’t much of an issue with you – then you will definitely enjoy the Silverado. The truck really is a work of art, and we shouldn’t expect anything less from Chevy in the near future.

We have driven Chevy trucks for years, and we absolutely love the 2007 Chevorlet Silverado. After driving comparable Ford and Toyota pickups, we choose the Silverado hands down in performance, safety and comfort. If you are looking for the ultimate work horse that is also very pleasing to the eye and provides superior comfort the entire family will enjoy – you should test drive a Chevy Silverado. You can find 2007′s on the market relatively inexpensively now that some time has passed. Start your search today and find the perfect pickup for you and your family.
